{"id":1898,"date":"2023-02-27T09:19:34","date_gmt":"2023-02-27T14:19:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/virtualvirginia.org\/?post_type=article&#038;p=1898"},"modified":"2023-10-10T11:16:09","modified_gmt":"2023-10-10T15:16:09","slug":"how-to-request-enrollment-changes-start-dates-meeting-times-course-withdrawals","status":"publish","type":"article","link":"https:\/\/virtualvirginia.org\/article\/how-to-request-enrollment-changes-start-dates-meeting-times-course-withdrawals\/","title":{"rendered":"How to request enrollment changes (start dates, meeting times, course withdrawals)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p id=\"h5p-panel-link-0-6\">Schools\/divisions may request the following types of Virtual Virginia enrollment changes via the VVA student information system (SIS):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Start date changes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Synchronous instruction meeting time changes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Course withdrawals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Follow the instructions below to make enrollment change requests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Using your counselor\/school coordinator\/division coordinator ID and password,&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/vva.geniussis.com\/PublicWelcome.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">log in to the Genius SIS<\/a>.<\/strong> If you can\u2019t remember your password, click the \u201crecover password\u201d link.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the <strong>Students<\/strong> tab at the top of the page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the name of the student for whom you wish to request an enrollment change.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Enrollment Change Request<\/strong> under Enrollments on the left side of the page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the <strong>Pencil\/Paper icon<\/strong> to the left of the course for which you wish to request an enrollment change.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the dropdown menu and select the type of enrollment change you wish to request (Start Date Change, Live Session Time-Slot Change, or Withdraw Request).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Depending on the type of change you select, use the options that appear to choose a new start date, a new live session time-slot, or reason for withdrawal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the <strong>Save Changes<\/strong> button.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The following confirmation message should appear: &#8220;Thank you for your request. You will receive an email when it has been processed.&#8221;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please allow up to 48 hours (excluding weekends) to receive an email notification about approval or denial of your request.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the change you request is a duplicate request, a message containing the text &#8220;already under review&#8221; will appear.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the&nbsp;<strong>Close<\/strong>&nbsp;button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","support_tags":[138,142],"section":[71],"class_list":["post-1898","article","type-article","status-publish","hentry","support_tags-registration","support_tags-student","section-registration-grades-account-creation"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.7 -
